The 2019 Wilberforce Academy Global Summit aims to explore what it means for redemptive change agents to become the kinds of leaders who will help others find that the path to Jesus Christ is the path to liberation and human flourishing. “For all creation waits with eager anticipation for the sons of God to be revealed” (Romans 8:19).

Questions:
→ What are the internal and external challenges to leadership in your society?
→ What traps leaders and what releases them?
→ How does Jesus’ model of leadership development inform us?
→ What does redemptive leadership look like in different sectors?

    • Ethnic/immigrant trends and perspectives in the Twin Cities

    • The different spiritual influences (both good and bad) that affect the Twin Cities

    • The economics and history that affect the Twin Cities

    • Visit the University of Minnesota campus

    • Enjoy Minnesota’s “fall colors” (when tree leaves become many different colors)

  • Business Planning Seminar: Keeping Your Dream Alive -A Case For A Wide-Awake Business Plan.

    • Presented by Jeremy Newhouse, Matter Inc.

    • Venue: Anselm House, 1337 N. Cleveland Ave, St Paul (across from the University of Minnesota campus)

    • Description of seminar: Forbes Magazine states that more than 20% of nonprofits fail in the first five years, and half of nonprofits have never developed a strategic plan. In this session, we'll cover the essentials of a business plan and a strategic plan - and why both must be in sync for you

to to have success in donor funding, impact measurement, and sustainable results.
