Be Involved

We welcome those who want to help us train students to be redemptive change agents in their home societies. To that end, a primary strategy of the Wilberforce Academy will be to empower those who want to serve God as they help students make a redemptive impact upon their home societies. Because so many of God’s people are eager to join us in this mission, the Institute provides opportunities for those called by God to serve:

As Trainers

Wilberforce Academy hopes to develop in 2009-2010 a training program for those who will train students to be redemptive change agents in society. The Curriculum Development Team (CDT) will begin work in Summer 2009 to design the training program.

As Volunteers

Volunteers are invited to serve God with us as He builds His kingdom through trained and equipped students. Current volunteer positions (May 2009) include volunteer manager (managing other volunteers), prayer team members, webmaster (skills in HTML editing not required), event coordination and support, newsletter editor, digital editor (handling and organizing audio and video files), and document proofing specialist. Other positions, such as volunteer teachers and mentors, will be considered on a case-by-case basis until the program is completed in early 2011.
